Kevin Hodes, CEO of Credit Card Processing Company Swypit, Publishes New Article Sharing Apps that Can Help You Find or Be a Mentor

Press Releases

Frisco, TX –June 21, 2019 – Kevin Hodes, CEO of Swypit has published a new article entitled “5 Apps to Help You Find Mentors or Mentees.” In the article, Hodes shares the value of finding a business mentor and then reveals five apps to help you find or be one.

In a previous article, business expert Kevin Hodes shared the value of having or finding a business mentor and how the right mentor can often help you shortcut the path to success. Specifically, he says, “Especially if you are a new business owner, having access to a collaborative partner, their well-built network, and their (likely vast) experience can be priceless. It definitely can reduce time and energy lost to costly mistakes your mentor can help you avoid AND increase the likelihood of your success.”

Hodes also explains that due to the value of having or finding a mentor, it can often make them hard to find because it seems like demand outstrips supply. Furthermore, he states, “While getting or having a mentor is a strong move, it’s also important to realize that not all mentors are equally yoked.”

But it’s important not to get discouraged says Hodes. Fortunately, he adds, finding a mentor today – or being a mentor today – can be so much easier due to technology.

In the remainder of his article, Hodes shares some of those technology apps and platforms that can help to connect mentors and mentees.

One of those he highlights is “Mogul.” Mogul is specifically for women but has become a major player in the mentor/mentee connection space. Mogul is not just for nosiness, it also allows women to share and mentor each other in many different areas. It also provides courses that build important skills.

Another he discusses is MentorCity. This platform essentially “matches” mentors and mentees based on skills, industry, job description, experience, gender, location, language and more.
